SICEI special electric motors are designed to meet the needs of industrial applications requiring construction characteristics that differ from those of standard electric motors.
The BTMAM series is a range of special three-phase asynchronous motors characterized by an oversized bearing on the flange side (Drive End/D.E.). This configuration allows for the production of shafts with larger diameters and greater lengths compared to standard motors.
Shaft dimensions can be specified by the customer regarding both size and material selection.
Special electric motors with oversized shaft
The main feature of BTMAM special electric motors is the oversized flange-side bearing.
This solution enables the production of shafts with larger-than-standard diameters, lengths up to ten times that of a standard shaft, and dimensions tailored to the specific application.
The result is a customized special electric motor, developed to integrate with the system and mechanical characteristics of the machine on which it is installed.
BTMAM series features
BTMAM special electric motors retain the construction characteristics of standard motors while introducing a specific configuration for applications requiring an oversized shaft.
The series is available in frame sizes ranging from 112 to 160.
Available mounting configurations include B5 – IM3001 and V1 – IM3011. The B3/B5 – IM2001 configuration is also available.
